HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY PLAY READING 1/27/26-Please join Dr. Karen Berman for a Lunch and Learn Event at the Alper JCC in Miami:
Dr. Karen Berman, co-author of Stories of the Holocaust , presented a guest lecture for 80 undergraduate education majors at Georgia College & State University about the history of antisemitism. Karen discussed what it was like for her growing up Jewish in classrooms where she was in the minority.Book contributor Arnold Mittelman, who founded and is President of the National Jewish Theatre Foundations (NJTF), sponsors the Holocaust Remembrance Day play readings. Karen mentored and oversaw the production of the play Rosa & Leo at Georgia College & State University. During the talkback, Karen mentioned numerous lessons from our books.
