Show Description: Ernst is a six-year-old boy who is stranded in the country at the close of WWII. A mysterious tramp agrees to walk with him the 200 kilometers to Frankfurt where Ernst hopes to find his mom. The stranger teaches Ernst some simple magic tricks and together they scrounge for food and avoid the soldiers. At last, the stranger reveals that his name is really H. Levin and that he is a Jewish survivor of the war.
