Remembering the Holocaust by Robert Skloot, Emeritus Professor of Theater and Drama

We invite you to a Holocaust Remembrance Day lecture by UWRA member Robert Skloot, who is a student of Holocaust drama. Professor Skloot will present a talk on Raphael Lemkin (1900-59), who coined the word genocide, and his heroic efforts to persuade the international community to recognize the existence of genocide and declare it a crime to be prevented and, when in evidence, punished. His play about Lemkin has been read around the U.S. and internationally since it was written in 2006.
